Obituary of Alice Theresa Foelster
Warren: Alice T. Foelster, age 67, died on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. She was born in New York City and had lived in Devon, PA and Johnstown, PA before moving to Warren in 1975.
She received her Bachelor's Degree from St. John's University in Brooklyn in 1965 and her Master's Degree in Library Sciences from Rutgers University in New Brunswick in 1981.
Mrs. Foelster worked for Dun and Bradstreet and The Bernardsville, Stirling and Warren libraries. She had also been a cashier at A & P and King's Grocery Store in Warren.
She was a member of PACT (People of Anxiety Coping Together), the Welcome Wagon of Warren and the Warren Book Club.
Mrs. Foelster was a cat lover, an avid reader and enjoyed cooking and singing.
She also enjoyed art and history and spending time with her family specially down the shore at LBI.
She is survived by her daughters, Anne M. Dennick and her husband, Joseph of Phillipsburg and Nanci A. Foelster of Warren; her brothers, Lawrence Frankiln of West Virginia and Raymond Franklin of Yorktown Heights, NY and her sister, Anne Marie Diamond of Cold Springs, NY.
Funeral services will begin on Friday, July 30th at 9:00 am at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacramant Church in Martinsville. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Basking Ridge. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m . Donations may be made in her loving memory to Susan G.
