Obituary of Francis Scrymgeour

Frank Scrymgeour of Pittstown, NJ, died on October 2, 2010 at home in the arms of his loving wife. The couple would have celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary this Janurary. Frank is survived by his wife, Patricia, his parents Mary and John Scrymgeour, sisters and their husbands Christine and Brian Gallen, and, Mari and Thomas Higgins. Frank's parents and sisters' families reside in Scotland. He is also survived by mother in law and husband Rita and Richard Fitzgerald, brother in law and wife John and Terry Gallagher, sister in law and husband, Maureen and John Coleman, sisters in law Mariteresa Dougherty and Sharon Gallagher. Frank's most cherished joys of his life were his 17 nieces, nephews and his 9 grand nieces and nephews and all the fun he had with them at his summer home at Lake Winola, PA. Frank was a much loved nephew, cousin and friend to all his 'Scottish' family too. Frank moved to the USA with his family in 1968, eventually becoming a US citizen. He graduated in 1971 from Watchung Hills High School. Then later established a small masonry company, which he ran for 30 years. A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Sunday, Oct 17th at Higgins Funeral Home, 752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung, NJ. The family will receive guests before the service, from 2pm-3pm. Frank and Patti are animal rights advocates. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local ASPCA.
