Obituary of Barbara A. Hahr

Barbara A. (Stohl) Hahr, age 72, died on Sunday October 31, 2010 at Norwood Terrace Nursing Home in Plainfield. Mrs. Hahr was born in Elizabeth and had resided in Tewksbury and in Watchung before moving to Norwood Terrace Nursing Home in 2005. Mrs. Hahr was a member of St. Mary's Stony Hill R.C. Church in Watchung. She enjoyed sewing, writing poetry as well as spending time with her family. She is predeceased by her husband Arthur Hahr in 2009 and her daughter Margaret Hahr in 2009. Surviving is her daughter Nancy Hahr Weidner and her husband Neil of Short Hills and two sisters Helen Rhodes and Elizabeth McElwee. She is also survived by three grandchildren Tabitha, William and James Weidner and her son in law Sidney Shaw. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 on Wednesday November 3, 2010 at Higgins Home for Funerals 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung NJ followed by a 10:00 am funeral mass at St. Mary's Stony Hill R.C. Church in Watchung. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Stony Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
