Obituary of William N. Boylan

William N. Boylan, age 86, died on Monday, November 8, 2010 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Mr. Boylan was born in Plainfield and had lived in North Plainfield before moving to Warren in 1956. Mr. Boylan was a self-employed mason for over 50 years. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Stony Hill Church, a member of the AM Vets and a life time member of the American Legion. Mr. Boylan is survived by his wife, Mildred W. Wintermute Boylan; his sons, Vern William and his wife, Susan of Wellington, FL, Mark Edward Boylan of Dunellen, Bruce David Boylan of Warren, Craig Walter Boylan and his wife, Lydia of Buckingham, PA and Wayne Harold Boylan of Warren; his daughter, Wilma Jean Wentz of High Bridge; his brothers, Theodore F. Boylan of CA and Stanley S. Boylan of SC and 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 12th at 9:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10:00 a.m. funeral mass at St. Mary's Stony Hill Church in Warren. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Private cremation to follow.
