Obituary of James T. Keegan

James T. Keegan, of Bedminster, N.J. died on November 15, 2010, after a long illness. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, November 19th, at 9:00 am at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10:00 am Mass of Resurrection at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1890 Washington Valley Road, Martinsville, N.J. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3-7 pm. First and foremost, Jim was a loving husband and dedicated family man. His wife, children and grandchildren's happiness were his purpose. His devotion to family was heightened by the blessing of his grandchildren, with whom he strived to spend every available moment. Born in Newark, N.J., Jim resided for 40 years in Randolph, N.J., before moving to Bedminister, N.J. He was a member of Local #52, IBEW in Newark, N.J. where he served on the Executive Board. Later he became a member of Local 164, located in Paramus, N.J. Jim was an Army Veteran serving in the South Pacific. He is survived by his loving wife Gloria, children, Brian and his wife Kathleen of Mine Hill, N.J., and daughter, Jacqueline and her husband Larry Lyman of Bridgewater, N.J. and grandchildren Lawrence, Andrew and Jack.
