Obituary of Peter Dunham Heteji
Point Pleasant Beach: Peter Dunham Heteji, 56, of Point Pleasant Beach, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at Virtua Hospital in Marlton NJ. Visitation will be on Friday December 3rd, from 6-9 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals 209 West 8th St. Plainfield NJ. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at St. Joseph's R.C. Church in North Plainfield. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains.
Born in Plainfield, Peter grew up on Clinton Ave, graduating North Plainfield High School in 1973. He had also resided in Martinsville, Bridgewater, Forked River and Toms River before moving to Point Pleasant Beach.
He was a member of the Captain Hawkers, the All-star Band and the Ancient Order Hibernians Club of Forked River. Peter was a retired Union Carpenter, Local 781, in Princeton NJ.
He is predeceased by his parents Paul and Frances Heteji.
Surviving are his loving daughters Kirsten M. Heteji and Molly F. Heteji of Hampton; two brothers Paul S. Heteji Jr. and his wife Jane of Linden and Thomas P. Heteji and his wife Barbara of North Plainfield; nieces Margaret H. Grabko of North Plainfield, Katherine A. Heteji of Astoria Queens, Lianne C. Heteji of North Plainfield and Lauren C. Heteji of Hoboken; nephew Thomas P. Heteji Jr. of North Plainfield.
