Obituary of Laura June Montgomery

Laura June Montgomery, 58, of Green Brook, died suddenly on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at her home. Born and raised in San Isidro, Peru, she settled in Plainfield in 1972, moved to North Plainfield in 1993 and Green Brook in 2005. For the past twenty years, Laura was employed as a billing clerk in accounts receivable for the Plainfield Health Center. Taking care of her family was the most important thing in her life and caring for her grandson was her true love. Her father, Robert Daly predeceased her in 1985. Surviving are her husband, Christopher S. Montgomery; two sons, John Pineiro and his son, Max of Green Brook and Ryan Pineiro of Green Brook and his fiancée, Jennie Hansen of Cranford; two daughters, Susan Bond and her partner, Ted Brown of Old Bridge and Siobhan Pineiro of Hoboken; her mother, Carmen June Smith of Lima, Peru; a brother, Douglas Daly of Virginia Beach and a sister, Susan Daly of Lima, Peru. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 9:30 am at the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10 am Mass of Resurrection at St. Mary's Stony Hill Church, Watchung and interment at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Visitation Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Ave., NY, NY 10065 would be appreciated.
