Obituary of Andrew S. Jennings

Andrew S. Jennings, age 84, died on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Green Knoll Care and Rehabilitation Center in Bridgewater. Mr. Jennings was born and raised in Warren, then moved to Manville, most recently residing in Bridgewater. He worked for the Warren School System for 17 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of the Senior Citizens of Manville and attended many different churches. Andrew was a very kind and caring person, especially to his nieces and nephews and his great nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all of them. He is predeceased by his parents; George and Mary Jennings; his son; Michael Jennings, his brothers; Jerry, Allen, Stanley and Henry Jennings, his sisters; Georgette Oborne, Maude Prystash and Dorothy Jennings. Surviving are his daughter; Marcia Jennings; his brother Thomas Jennings and his wife Gloria, his sister in law, Cathy and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 10:00 am at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. Interment will follow at Springdale United Methodist Cemetery, Warren. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
