Obituary of Joseph Berger

Joseph E. Berger, age 85, died on Monday, December 13, 2010 at his home in Warren. Born and raised in Union he has resided in Warren for the past 54 years. Joseph was a serviceman with PSE & G in Plainfield for over 30 years before retiring. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Navy. A member of the VFW Post 6259 in Berkeley Heights. Surviving is his loving wife of 60 years Philomena "Lembo" Berger; son Joseph Berger and his wife Jan of Fresco, CO.; daughter Karen Watt and her husband Bob of Mountainside; brother Robert Berger of FL.; grandchildren Kevin Watt and Kelly Berger. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, December 16th at 11 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funeral, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9-11 a.m. Cremation is private.
