Obituary of Mildred Paula Whittington

Mildred Paula (Schafer) Whittington, age 83, died on Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at Brandywine Assisted Living in Bridgewater. Born and raised in Orange, she then resided in Bound Brook with her husband for most of her married life, before moving to Bridgewater. Mildred and her husband owned and operated Whitt Brothers, for over 30 years. She was the past president of the New Market Dunellen Women's Club, a member of the Bound Brook Elks Ladies Auxiliary and Literary Club. Predeceased by her parents George and Mildred (Bader) Shafer; her husband Harry Richard Whittington in 2005; her sister Patricia Wilson and her son-in-law Patrick Greaney. Surviving is her daughter Patrice Greaney; and her grandson Eoin Greaney. A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 31, 2011, at 12:30 pm at Bound Brook Cemetery in Bound Brook.
