Obituary of Muriel Haedrich

Muriel Early Haedrich, age 92, died on Monday, January 31, 2011, at Fellowship Village in Basking Ridge. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY she resided in Plainfield for 27 years, then Chestertown, NY for 10 years before moving to Fellowship Village 10 years ago. Muriel was a Communicant of St. James RC Church in Basking Ridge and St. Mary's in Plainfield. She enjoyed playing bridge, reading, politics, the Adirondack Mountains and the Brooklyn Dodgers. Muriel loved raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Warren Haedrich in 2005. Surviving are her children Joseph Haedrich and his wife Kathleen, Barbara Foley and her husband William, Thomas Haedrich and his wife Diane, William Haedrich, Joanne Stenersen and her husband Dean McKitrick, Kenneth Haedrich and his wife Bev and Mary Licata and her husband Joseph; 15 grandchildren Todd, Jayson, Samantha, Sean, Megan, Tom, Jarrett, Jesse, Kyle, Ben, Tess, Alison, Sam, Jeffrey and Steven; 7 Great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, February 4th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Saturday, February 5th at 9:30 am at St. James RC Church, 184 South Finley Ave. Basking Ridge. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains, NJ.
