.To the entire Toresco family, I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad will always be one of the most memorable people in my life. Growing up with Randie, Albie, Tracey, Linda and Dom,I practically lived at your house, Mr.T always made me feel like part of the family. He'd yell at me along with the rest of you. He was a force to be reckoned with, his presence would fill a room. He loved his family and embraced all of their close friends as his own. The one thing you always knew was that he had your back. He will be missed by everyone that knew him, but he will never be forgotten. Spending so much time with your family over the years has given many great memories of your dad to cherish. I am very fortunate to have had so many opportunities to get to know your dad over the years, he will be missed....

Dear Toresco Family, I never thought I would meet the equivalent of my friend Vince Lombardi. Years ago, as a salesman from Wang Laboratories Computer company I received a call from Don Toresco to get more information about our computer system that had been installed in California. I arrived at North Plainfield Dodge to find Don so perceptive about all the features of our system, but also so personable to work with as we installed the equipment. That is why we gave him preferential service when a flood put his equipment under water shortly afterward. We then installed a computer system in Don's Auto Sales and later at the Autoland dealership. I have always remembered your father's intensity in getting to know every phase of the equipment that could develop his business.
Nothing was impossible with Vince Lombardi, my football coach and Chemistry teaher in college. The same was true of your Dad with his intellect, dedication, and superb character. Lee Iacocco's commendation for "outstanding performance and the highest degree of professionalism" was well-deserved.

I thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new.
I thought about you yesterday.
And days before that too.
I think of you in silence.
I often speak your name.
Now all I have is memories.
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is my keepsake.
With which I'll never part.
God has you in his keeping.
I have you in my heart.

Praise be to our God for welcoming Don into heaven where he is dancing on that street of gold. His soul is with Jesus and there will be no more pain, no more tears, no more struggles. I never met Mr. Toresco personally, but I do know his son Dominick. Like his Pop, Dominick has a heart of Gold!
Blessings to the entire family.

I met Donald in the summer of 1963 doing a series of evening radio remotes on WERA 1590 AM from his North Plfd. Dodgeland store. I interviewed him on air nightly and was so inspired by his enthusiasm for business. As I shifted from radio to Motto Advertising, I remained on his support team and was amazed at his creativity. I was grateful for his trust for nearly 40 years and will actually miss his "inspiring" admonishments to do better, always challenging people to reach higher. God Bless old friend. Brian Morgan

Dominick and Family ,
Frank and I want to express our condolences and would like you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and Mr Toresco. Loosing our father on Friday will not allow us to pay homage. I would like to say this; the 3 years I spent working for your Father at Autoland were some of the most enjoyable and important within my career. In the 25 years I have been in business, he was the one owner/manger I respected and truly admired the most. I will always be grateful for the knowledge that I acquired under his leadership. He will be missed. God Bless.
Sincerley ,
Joseph Cifalino
