Obituary of James L. Hodgdon

James L. Hodgdon, age 86, died on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains. Mr. Hodgdon served in the U.S. Navy during World War II from 1943 -1946. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Pratt University in 1951. He was an Electrical Engineer for the Picatinny Arsenal. Mr. Hodgdon enjoyed wood working and spending two weeks every summer in Maine. He is survived by his wife, Dorothea Creveling Hodgdon; his sons, J. Richard Hodgdon and his wife, Marisa and Robert Wayne Hodgdon and his wife, Donna; his daughters, Carol Anne and her husband, Gary, Pamela Jane and her husband, Anthony and Linda Ruth and her husband, Jeffrey and 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 11th at 10:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by entombment at Somerset Hills Memorial Park.
