Obituary of Pamela Sue Schmidt

Pamela Sue Schmidt, 22, passed away on Sunday March 13, 2011. Pam was born and raised in Somerset, New Jersey. She was a senior at Rutgers University planning to graduate in the spring with degrees in Labor Relations, Psychology, and Human Resources. She planned on attending graduate school of human resources at Rutgers University next fall. Pam worked at Amicus Therapeutics in the human resource department. She previously was an intern at Serius XM Radio. Pam was extremely active, hard-working, compassionate, family-oriented, and loving. She touched the lives of everyone she met. Pam had the unique ability to unite and reconnect family and friends from different generations and backgrounds. Her deep compassion and ability to help others brought joy and comfort to those close to her. Pamela is survived by her loving and devoted family including her mother and father, Marcy and Werner; her sister and brother, Stephanie and Michael; her grandparents, Eleonore, Werner, Morris and Myrna; her uncles, Paul, Mark, and Lenny; her cousins, Seth and Brandon; and numerous other close family and friends. She is preceded in death by her aunt, Karin Sue Schmidt. Services will be held on Saturday, March 19. 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by interment at Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge.
