Obituary of Florence J Battoni

Florence Battoni, age 87, wife of the late Clement Battoni Sr., passed away on Saturday March 19, 2011 after a brief illness, at the Capital Health Center, Trenton, NJ. Born in Plainfield, she and her husband resided there until 1977 moving to Piscataway until his death in 2007. She was presently living in Manahawkin, NJ at the time of her passing. Florence was the daughter of the late Anthony and Assunta Mastrianni and is survived by her sister Jeanette Ettere of Middlesex, NJ, four sons, Clement Jr. of Ringoes, Ronald of Wapwallapen, PA, Neil also of Ringoes and Anthony of Manahawkin, NJ. She was the proud grandmother of Matthew, Danielle, Neil, Sean and Nicolette and great-grandmother of Lilly, Alexis, Jack and Mia. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to the Capital Health Center, 750 Brunswick Ave, Trenton, NJ 08638 or the TJL Foundation PO BOX 2246 Flemington, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung, NJ 07069 at 9:00 am followed by a 10:00 am Mass of Resurrection at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Piscataway. Entombment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
