Ruth a testament that years later you are not forgotten. Good people make contributions that span over a lifetime and reverberate over and over after their physical life has stopped. You were one of those people. I thank God for the memories I have of you.

Dear Aunt Ruth (Bear): It was only today that I began looking for your obituary because you know that we came to see you home March 30, 2011. I visit different obituaries of people I have never met; but being so close& our family being there to see you home, I personally felt at that time that we were closer with you and with Uncle Joe, Natasha, Lesley, Steve, Ella, Evan, Millie, Olivia, Joe,John, Fred, Ronald my mom (Barbara Jean) my husband, Michael. We miss you very much, more than we have been able to express. The world is always different when special people that we love go home; the the awesome thing that I have learned is that when we are absent in the physical body that we are immediately Present with Our Lord Christ and the Best of Our Father's Best. I miss you and I miss talking to you and listening to you. You made life around you count and you never took for granted the years and days that you were given. I pray right now in Christ Jesus' name that each of us, Uncle Joe, my mom Barbara, my Husband, Lesley, Natasha, Steven, Ella, Evan, Millie, that each of us will be awakened each morning that we are given to live Abundantly as Our Father's Will is meant for us to Live in Christ and through Our Holy Spirit. It seems that the special ones go home a little too fast for me and of course, I am not the only one who shares this truth. Dear Lord Christ, I ask right now that Your Love keeps us so tight through You, Holy Spirit, that each of our names are truly written in Your Lambs' Book of Life so that we , Earline, Grandma Magnolia, Grandpa Bell Shaw, ALL of us WILL see each other with Christ being there with us and that we will NEVER be interupted of the Love originally meant for us to enjoy and to live by. We love Uncle Joe so very much, Bear. The obituary forgot to mention your awesome dinner bells that you also collected. I found that aspect of your character to be unique and warm. You truly brought together and sought out my mom which linked me to you and I am grateful that I personally spent my 7 years with you , even if over the phone watching Turner Classic Movies and your hard work, sending clasic music, richly talented songstresses and what they meant to you. You are Bear, because Bears are strong and they protect the young (my mom) and they protect those around them (her cubs, her spouse all those who need and love her). Bears rule their environment and keep their own safe and warmth. Bears are beautiful to me, Bears are the giants in life which keep us in our place& yet keeps the ones she loves so close. Please keep coming to us in our dreams and speak to us from where you are Tell us what it is like from your point of view what His Kingdom is like in person. I feel sorrow that I did not get to write my messege to you through out the guest books. Lesley and Natasha need to see you often in their dreams as they sleep to hear your voice or just to see you especially Uncle Joe, please come through Christ Jesus to visit us in our dreams so that we know what we have to look forward to. Thank you for being a blessing and a warm presence in my life. I regret the years that we did not get to spend together,, yet I am more grateful that the perfect 7 years that Christ was so awesome to allow us was given because it authenticates His True Presence and that He knows Everything and that you are indeed with Him enjoying the very best that will never be taken away from any of us ever again. Thank You Lord Christ for my family and Thank You for allowing me, my Michael and my mom (Barbara Jean, your baby girl) for bringing us all together to spend time with this beautiful family, beautiful and strong because of You Lord Christ in every way. Forgive me for only now locating these obituary histories. We were so focused in the moment of March 18-21 2011 and so focused on being there together that we were living and celebrating and loving our family. I am so sorry that I am only now wiring these thse thoughts to Bear. Thank you Lord Christ for allowing me to find them right now. You have a very perfect time for all things in all ways for your reasons.
Praise You Abba Father and Thank You for giving to me and to each of us this special family and each of these cousins (whom we wish that we could see more often). Thank You Lord Christ for each of these special members related to me and I related to them. Praise You! We love you Aunt Ruth (Bear) and we love you Uncle Joe! Anita and Michael Stielow

I am truly sorry that I could not be there. Aunt Ruth has a very special place in my heart. When I was in college & struggling, Aunt Ruth listened to me as in whined about how hard it was. She didn't say a word, she just listened. As I was leaving, she privately place a $50.00 bill in the palm of my hand. She told me... "I know it's hard, but you can do it, don't give up and promise me that you will finish school". I promised her that I would & her encouragement contributed to my completing school. I will miss Aunt Ruth... Gone but never forgotten
