Obituary of Anna E. Radzik

Anna E. (Bitala) Radzik died peacefully on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Barnhill Care Center, Newton. Born in 1922 in Czechoslovakia, she came to the US in 1935. She resided in Cranford and Warren Township before moving to Lafayette in 1976 where she co-owned A & W Hardware and Deli in Lafayette with her husband, Walter from 1976-1996. She was well-known in the community. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter C. Radzik, and her first husband, John W. Evans, and son John J. Evans. Mrs. Radzik is survived by her sister in law Yvonne Radzik of Edison NJ, two grandchildren, John J. Evans, Gina Evans and great grandson Joey Evans of North Carolina, and a sister Emily Jedinak of Slovakia. A gathering of close friends and family will take place at 10:30 AM on Friday, April 15 at Higgins Home For Funerals, Watchung, to be followed by a graveside service at 11:30 AM at Rosedale Cemetery in Linden.
