Obituary of John Hachlica

John Hachlica, age 64, died on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at his home in Green Brook. He was born in Germany and had lived in Green Brook for many years. Mr. Hachlica was a supervisor for the Somerset County Road Department for 11 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a crew chief during the Viet Nam War and later as a flight engineer in the Air Force. He enjoyed high performance cars like Corvettes and Mercedes. He is survived by his mother, Julia Hryb Hachlica; his brother, Steven P. Hachlica and his sister, Maria Hachlica. He is also survived by his uncles, Bill and Steve; his aunt Stasia; his nephews, Christopher and Justin; his niece, Larysa and 6 cousins. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 21st from 6 - 8 pm. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd.,Watchung. A military service will be held during the visitation.
