Obituary of Joyce C. Delaney

Joyce Delaney, age 75, died on Wednesday, April, 20, 2011 at Bridgeway Care Center in Bridgewater. She was born in Yonkers, NY and had lived in Hillsborough, Manahawkin and Suffern, NY before moving to Bridgewater. She was a medical secretary for many years before retiring in 2005. She enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles, reading, arts and crafts and gardening. She was a beloved mother and grandmother and loved her dog Buffy. She is predeceased by her husband, James Delaney in 1996. Surviving are her children and their spouses, Kevin and Karyn Delaney of Warwick, NY, Patricia and Kevin Stagg of Martinsville, NJ, Eileen and Patrick Reynar of Tuxedo, NY, Christine and Martin Falkner of London and Elizabeth and Ken Peters of Tuckerton, NJ; her sister Joan Emilus of Sparta and 10 grandchildren. Visitation will be on Monday April 25, 2011 at Higgins Home for Funerals 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung from 11:00 am to 1:00pm followed by a 1:30 p.m. Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church in Martinsville. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Barnegat.
