I'm seriously shocked Maurice is gone. I just found out today by accident. I was a friend to him and got to know his kind, unselfish, caring heart in detail. I found a amazing person to spend times with at home or at the movie theater. I really feel sorry he is gone as there was so much of him for the world to have. I feel sorrow and an immense emptiness as I will not talk nor see him again...ever again. To his family, to his mom and the ones he loved the most, my condolences.

though we only ran into each other at the gym over the years,we've never hung out or even talked on the phone,i always enjoyed seeing you and talking with you.i considered you a friend and a special person!i will truly miss you and will never forget you.and though i mourn your sudden passing,i will smile when i think of you because i'm so glad to have known you!
