Obituary of Florence G. Francois

Florence G. Francois, age 90, died on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Monmouth Crossing Nursing Facility in Freehold. She was born in Brooklyn, NY where she resided for approximately 40 years, moved to the Woodhaven section of Queens, living there for approximately 45 years before moving to Freehold in 2006. She was very interested in genealogy. Florence was predeceased by her brother, Eugene Evans. Surviving are her nephews; Michael Francois of Warren, NJ, Mark Francois of Watchung, NJ and Gerard Francois of Malvern, PA; her nieces, Mary Francois Rockcastle of Minneapolis, MN and Ellen Francois of Patchogue, NY, and many great nieces and nephews. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Mount Chapel in Warren, NJ. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:30 am -12:30 p.m. at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. Cremation is private.
