Dan F. Bodenchak
Dan F. Bodenchak of Warren, NJ, age 53, died on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. He was born in Elizabeth and had lived in Hillside and Linden before moving to Warren 18 years ago.
Mr. Bodenchak received his Associates Degree for Electronics Technician in 1992 from DeVry Institute and had been an Electronics Technician for EquiServe & Snap-On Tools for many years. He also was a graduate of Lincoln Technical Institute for Automotive Mechanics, and was the vice president of Twin City Auto Body in Elizabeth, NJ. After losing his sight in 2002, he attended the Joseph Kohn Center for the Blind and through his studies there, he became self employed as a vending machine operator. He attended the Christian Life Church in Middlesex and was a past member of Wilson Memorial Church in Watchung.
Mr. Bodenchak is survived by his wife, Nancy Johnson Bodenchak of Warren; his daughter Kara Bodenchak of Winfield; his step-daughters Michele Phillips and her husband Eric of CA and Christina Molner of Warren; his parents Frank and Irene Bodenchak of Long Beach Township; his brothers, John Bodenchak and his wife Jean of CA, Frank Bodenchak and his wife Dawn of NY, and Christopher Bodenchak of Long Beach Township; his Aunt, Loretta Ivanow of Las Vegas; and his nephews John, Mark and Eric Bodenchak of CA.
