Obituary of Joyce C. Tighe

Joyce C. Tighe, age 68, died on Thursday. June 16, 2011 at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and had lived in Warren and Upper Arlington, OH before moving back to Warren in 1988. Mrs. Tighe was a homemaker and a Communicant of Our Lady of the Mount Church. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, John Tighe; her sons, James Tighe and his wife Jennifer of Hilliard, OH and Michael Tighe and his wife, Andrea of Columbus, OH; her daughter, Karyn Frederick and her husband, Carl of Mainville, OH; her brother. Thomas Boriso and her sister, Judy Struzinski. Also surviving are her 8 grandchildren, Kaity, Mackenzie and Hayden Frederick and Charlie, Andrew, Ellie, Maggie and Alexander Tighe. Funeral services will begin on Monday. June 20, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at Our Lady of the Mount Chapel in Warren. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Basking Ridge. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
