Obituary of Enid Sue Potter

Enid Sue Potter, age 72, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2011. She was born in Queens, grew up in Mt. Vernon, NY, lived in Green Brook for 38 years and most recently has retired to Delray Beach. Enid was a teacher for many years in North Plainfield. She has recently been involved with Brandeis National Committee in fundraising, and was involved in many community groups. She enjoyed painting and the arts. Surviving are her husband; Sherman, her son; Steven Potter and his wife, Lisa Scofield, her daughter; Kathy Bontempo and her husband, Tom; her sister, Ellen Birnbaum, and her 4 grandchildren; Amanda and Samantha Bontempo and Katie and Allie Potter. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 27, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield 07060 followed by the interment at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin.
