Obituary of Anthony Joseph Santo, Jr.

Anthony Joseph Santo, Jr., age 58, died on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. He was born in Plainfield and was raised in Watchung. He graduated from Watchung Hills Regional High School. Mr. Santo loved his family and the New York Yankees. He is predeceased by his mother, Angelina Santo in 2010. Surviving are his fiancé, Lydia Ramos; his father, Anthony Santo, Sr.; his sister, Carol Ann McIvers; his niece, Tammy Ann Piwoski and her husband, Kevin, Sr.; his nephew, Peter Todd McIvers and his wife, Cassandra; his great nieces and nephews, Kevin, Jr and Heather Ann Piwoski and Joshua McCool and his great-great niece, Layla Renee Piwoski. Funeral services will begin at 9:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. Mary's Stony Hill Church. Cremation is private.
