Obituary of Thomas R. Wright

Thomas R. Wright, age 60, died on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical center. He was born in East Orange and was a long time Plainfield resident. Prior to his retirement in 2003, he was a batch mixer of specialty inks for ACMI in Plainfield. Mr. Wright was an avid Yankee and Jet fan. He enjoyed playing pool, watching baseball and reading. He was predeceased by his wife, Cecelia Gaddy-Wright in 2008; his parents, Richard and Thomasina Wright and his sister, Barbara Wright. Surviving are his daughter, Johnetta Gaddy (Theresa Motley) of South Plainfield; his son, Jonathan Gaddy (Angel) of Newark; his extra special grand nephew, NyKeem Gaddy; his brother, Richard Wright and his wife, Kerry and their children, Brian, Katie and Conor; his nephews, Anthony Gaddy and Sharron Gaddy (Kara); his sisters, Anne Pacheco and her husband, Thomas of Saugerties, NY and Elizabeth Mary Ashmore and her husband, Croft of Wewahitchka, FL. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 7th from 1:00 to 3 :00 pm followed by a 3:00 p.m. service at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th street, Plainfield. Cremation is private.
