Obituary of Joy C. Counts

Plainfield: Joy C. Counts, age 45, died on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at her home in Plainfield. Born and raised in Plainfield she had been a lifelong resident. Joy enjoyed art, drawing and reading. Predeceased by her parents Roscoe Counts in 2003 and Corrine Roane Counts in 2011 andher sister Gayle Counts in 1993. Surviving is her brother Roscoe Lindsey Counts, III; sisters Stephanie Morisset, Sherry Counts, Sharon Counts and Audrey Counts; 20 nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 19th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield followed by interment at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Visitation will be on Thursday from 6-9 p.m.
