Obituary of Ann F. Gaffney

Ann F. Gaffney, age 83, died on Monday, August 29, 2011 at Green Knoll Care and Rehabilitation Center in Bridgewater. Ann was born and raised in Liberty Corner and had resided in Warren for many years. She married her husband, Charles in 1949 and raised two sons in Warren. She was a member of Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church in Warren. Ann worked hard all of her life caring for her family. She struggled with MS for the past 30 years, never complaining and always helping and thinking of others. She is predeceased by her husband, Charles E. Gaffney in 1995 and her 3 brothers; Jim, Charles and William Hockenbury. Surviving are her sons; Donald William Gaffney and his wife Luann and Larry Charles Gaffney and his wife Beverly; her twin sister, Ethel Hilliker and four grandchildren; Eric, Donald, Samantha and Victoria Gaffney. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 2, 2011 at 9:00 am at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung, followed by a 10:00 Funeral Service at Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church, Warren. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the Mt.
