Obituary of Anne Langford

Anne Lyerly Langford, 70, died Monday, August 29, 2011 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Plainfield, she resided in Warren before moving to Hillsborough 25 years ago. Anne attended Flower 5th Avenue Nursing School in NYC, and later attended Fairleigh Dickinson University, receiving a legal nurse consultant degree. She was a registered nurse for 27 years at Carrier Clinic in Belle Mead, retiring in 2006. She loved being by the water, swimming and travelling, especially cruising. Surviving are two daughters, Donna C. Langford-Smith and her husband Devon of Miami and Susan Bush of Mesa, AZ; one brother, James Lyerly and his wife Jean of Plainfield and one granddaughter, Elizabeth Anne Mehl of Victorville, CA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 from 11 am to 12 noon followed by a 12 pm Funeral Service at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West Eighth St., Plainfield. Cremation and burial at sea private. Memorial donations to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY 10065 would be appreciated.
