Obituary of Xenia Givas

Xenia Givas, age 76, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 5, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospice House, Center Valley, PA. Born in Huntington, NY, daughter of the late William and Chresoula (Karnoutsou) Eugene, she resided in East Brunswick, NJ for nearly 50 years before moving to Phoebe Home, Allentown, PA in 2006. Xenia was a graduate of SUNY - Cortland and taught at Voorhees Elementary School, Old Bridge, NJ for nearly 30 years. She enjoyed music, antiquing, classic movies and conversations with family and friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, meals with the "lunch bunch" and Thanksgiving. Survivors: Daughter, Joanne wife of Scott McCarty; son, William and his wife Sandra; sister Despina and her husband Reyman Branting; grandchildren Ryan and Kristen; nieces, nephews, cousins and five granddogs.
