Obituary of Pasqua Ciccolella

Pasqua (Piscitelli) Ciccolella, age 97, died on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at her home in Bridgewater. She was born in 1914 in Giovinazzo, Italy and came to the United States in 1949 and lived in Hoboken for 59 years before moving to Brandywine Assisted Living in Bridgewater three years ago. Mrs. Ciccolella was married to Orazio Ciccolella who passed away in 1962. She was one of eleven children who all predeceased her. She was a housewife who liked to crochet, sew, bake and had a wonderful independent life filled with family and friends. Surviving are her daughter, Mary and her husband, Jack English and their son, Matthew; her son, Sergio and his former wife, Julie and their children, Christopher and Nicholas and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will begin at 9:15 am on Tuesday, October 11th at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung followed by an 11:00 funeral Mass at St. Francis Church in Hoboken. Interment will be at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City. Visitation will be on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
