Obituary of John Michael Kiseli

John Michael Kiseli, age 65, died on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown. He was born in Elizabeth and had lived in Linden and Westfield before moving to Warren in 1984. Mr. Kiseli received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He was self-employed as an Accountant. He was an Eagle Scout in Troop #34 in Linden. Mr. Kiseli received numerous medals serving in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Mr. Kiseli was a singer, guitar, and harmonica player with several bands, such as Ice House, Summit Lane and the Arkades. He enjoyed vacationing and fishing and was a communicant of Our Lady of the Mount Church. He is survived by his son, John Kiseli and his wife, Nicole and his grandson Jack. He is also survived by his son, Jeffrey Kiseli and his wife, Rebecca; his companion, Inge Leitow, his brothers, Steve and Ken Kiseli; and his aunt, Ann Leistman. Funeral services will begin on Monday, November 7th at 9:30 am at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10:30 am Mass of Resurrection at Our Lady of the Mount Chapel, Warren. Cremation is private. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1 to 4 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
