Obituary of Norman F. LeBoeuf
Norman F. LeBoeuf, 88, of Warren, New Jersey died Wednesday, November 23rd after a long illness. He was born in Tiverton, Rhode Island, and had lived in Warren for the past 50 years. He graduated from Barringer High School in Newark, NJ in 1940. While attending Seton Hall College, Norman served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in WWII in the South Pacific. After returning from the war, Norman received his Masters Degree in education and taught Physical Education, Math and Health in Springfield, NJ for over 40 years.
Norman is predeceased by his brother, Frederick LeBoeuf and son-in-law, Brian Vanicky.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Shirley Siegel LeBoeuf; by his 4 sons, Alan and his wife Dawn of Hillsborough, Glenn and his wife Robin of Middletown, Keith and his wife Colleen of Alexandria Twp., Brian and his wife Marguerite of Basking Ridge and his daughter, Nancy Vanicky of Bridgewater. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Claire, Kevin, Michael, Marisa, Matthew, Emily, Collette, Tommy, Bridgette, Elizabeth, Lauren and Max.
Norman's favorite hobby was raising Weimaraner dogs. Norman grew to be known nationally as one of the finest Weimaraner breeders in the country, winning "best of breed" twice at the Westminster Kennel Club Show at Madison Square Garden.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 2nd at Wilson Memorial Church, Hillcrest Boulevard, Watchung, NJ at 10 AM. Hours of visitation at Higgins Home for Funerals, Mountain Boulevard, Watchung, NJ will be Thursday, December 1st from 4 to 8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of your choice in Norman's name.
