Obituary of Royston Greene

North Plainfield: Royston "Neville" Greene, age 57, passed away on Monday December 12, 2011 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville, NJ. Born in Georgetown Guyana, Mr. Greene had resided in North Plainfield since 1992. Prior to retiring he worked for Strato Manufacturing in Piscataway NJ as a CNC Machine Operator. He enjoyed playing soccer and watching sports especially boxing. He also enjoyed gardening and cooking but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is predeceased by his father Irving Greene He is survived by his wife Andra Diana; a son Christopher Greene and his wife Melissa; a daughter Christine Greene Smith and her husband Gerrod, and his youngest son Christon Greene; his mother Zeferine Cato Greene; a brother Bertie Greene; five sisters, Barbara Shepherd and her husband James, Veronica Greene, Ingrid David and her husband Herbert, June Ann Gill and her husband Isaac and Lydia Greene; eight grandchildren Christopher, Jada, Christa, Ali, Christian, Chrislyn, Matthew, and Kendal. He is also survived by his father-in-law Andrew Ross and mother-in-law Marie Atkins. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011 from 7-9 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals 209 West Eighth Street Plainfield NJ. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am at the funeral home followed by the burial at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains NJ.
