Obituary of Mary Rose Simone

Watchung: Mary Rose Simone, age 85, died on Saturday December 17, 2011 at Brandywine Assisted Living Center in Watchung. Born in Plainfield, Mrs. Simone later moved to Elizabeth after marring her husband Angelo Michael Simone in 1949. Together with her family she resided in Roselle for many years before moving to Watchung. NJ. Mrs. Simone was a faithful and active member of the Italian American Club in North Plainfield. She is predeceased by her husband Angelo Michael Simone in 1989. She is survived by a son Sal Simone and his wife Ann; three daughters Maria Simone Cistaro, Angela DiPaolo and her husband Dom and Rose Simone. She is also survived by nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Higgins Home for Funerals 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung followed by a 10:00 am Mass of the Resurrection at St. Mary's Stony Hill R.C. Church in Watchung. The interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains. A visitation will be on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
