Obituary of Robert P. Coviello

Robert Peter Coviello, age 68, passed away on Friday December 30, 2011 at his home in Bridgewater. Born in Englewood, NJ, Bob has resided in Bridgewater since 1973. He held a bachelors degree from Montclair State University and an MBA from Penn State University. Bob retired as the Vice President of Logistics at National Starch and Chemical Company in 2006. He found great joy in his work and especially his colleagues. After retiring he started Sun Cove Distribution LLC, a business importing Spanish wine to the United States. Bob began his career as a high school teacher in Northern New Jersey. Bob made many life long friends spending summers at Lindy's Lake in West Milford, NJ, who he felt were like family. He was an avid tennis player and had a special fondness for his tennis pals on and off the court. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years Gisele; his loving son, Jeffrey Robert and his wife Trina of New York City; cherished grandchildren Bridget and Serena; his dearest mother Rosalie Coviello of Bridgewater; dear sister Joanne Hughes and her husband James of Arlington, VA; nieces and nephews Kristin, Andrew, Megan and Michael. His kindness and great strength were so admired by his family and friends. Fond memories of him will last forever in our hearts. A funeral service will be held at 9:00am on Wednesday January 4, 2012 at Higgins Home for Funerals 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung NJ followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00am at Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church in Martinsville. The viewing will be held on Monday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and on Tuesday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
