Gail was a product of days when loyalty, commitment, and diligence were the bywords of engineers. He served on committees of the NJSPE with distinction. I chaired one of those committees, and Gail's unswerving commitment to our task was outstanding. He appeared when others were stymied by weather and, more significantly, he struggled through personal adversity to attend. He will always remain as a strong and lasting memory for me.
