Obituary of Margaret Lippai

Green Brook: Margaret Matusovic Lippai, age 86, died peacefully on Thursday, January 26, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was born and raised in Jersey City and had lived in Elizabeth for 40 years and moved to Bridgewater in 1988 before moving to Green Brook 2 1/2 years ago. Prior to her retirement in 1988, Mrs. Lippai owned and operated the G & M Market in Elizabeth with her husband for 43 years. She was a Communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church and had a great devotion to the Blessed Mother. She watched Mass on EWTN twice a day. She enjoyed sewing , crocheting and reading. Most importantly, her family was her life. Mrs. Lippai is predeceased by her husband, George Lippai in 1997. Surviving are her children, Nancy Yablonski and her husband, Michael, Thomas G. Lippai and his wife, Carol, Chris Logothetis and her husband, Steve and Margie Wagerik and her husband, Mike; her brother, John Matusovic; her grandchildren, Michael, Mark, Nicholas, Thomas, Brian, Steven, Casey and Mary and her great-grandchildren, Maura and Cole. Funeral services will begin on Monday, January 30th at 8:45 am at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church in Martinsville. Interment will be at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Bridgewater. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 to 6 pm.
