Obituary of Cordell Hylton

Cordell (Tyndall) Hylton, age 44, died on Monday, January 30, 2012, at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack. Born and raised in Jamaica she moved to the United States at a young age and resided in Irvington before marrying and moving to Green Brook. Cordell graduated from Irvington High School and Seton Hall University with a Bachelor's degree. She married her husband Robert in 1995, and they started Corbert Medical Transportation in Union, NJ, she served as the CFO and accountant for 12 years. Cordell had a very strong spiritual belief and attended church on a regular basis. She loved spending time with her family and especially watching her boy's baseball games. Surviving is her loving husband Robert Hylton; her 3 sons Andrew, Brandon and Jayden Hylton; her parents Raymond and Elaine Tyndall; brother Donald White; sisters Althea Mondley, Melody Borden, Georgia DaCosta and Novlette Nelson; her in-laws Leroy and Florence Osbourne; her brother-in-law Orville Osbourne and his wife Melissa, sister-in-law Joan Folkes and her husband Damon, brother-in-law Conrad Ottey and his wife Lestine, brother-in-law Ozzie Osbourne and his wife Angela and brother-in-law Owen Ottey and his family; a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 4th, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by interment at Somerset Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Basking Ridge. Visitation will be on Friday, from 7-9 p.m. In honor of Cordell's memory, an Educational Trust has been established for her children.
