Obituary of Areatha Elizabeth Seay

North Plainfield - Areatha (Rea) Elizabeth Seay, 61, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012 at her home. Rea was born in Plainfield, NJ and was a longtime North Plainfield resident. She attended Union County College and Rutgers University. Rea worked for many years in the Food Service industry for Leon's Catering of North Plainfield. Rea was predeceased by her parents John & Dorthy Seay, Sr. She leaves behind two daughters Esterine Renee Wimberly (William) and Hope Renee Seay, four Grandchildren, six sisters and brothers, Nora, Paulette, Johnettea,(Ray), John, and sister-in-law Ella, Bernard and Jason, five God-children along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Higgins Home for Funerals 209 West 8th St. Plainfield NJ from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm followed by a 1:00pm funeral service at the funeral home. The interment will be at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains NJ. Memorial donations may be made in her loving memory to the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America 231 E.
