Obituary of Henry Paul Langowski
Henry Paul Langowski, age 78, died on Tuesday, March 6th, 2012, at Somerset Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Bound Brook. Born in Hillside, he resided in Newark before moving to Bridgewater in 1967.
Prior to retiring he worked in the maintenance department of the Pingry School in Martinsville for thirteen years. Before that he worked as a Tool & Die Maker for forty years.
He served in the Air Force during the Korean War and was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church in Bridgewater. In his spare time he enjoyed camping and spending time with his family.
Surviving is his loving wife Carmela (Alfano) Langowski; his son Michael Langowski of Bridgewater; daughters Janet DeLuca and her husband Keith of Upper Black Eddy, PA. and Tracey Longo and her husband David of Yorktown Heights, NY; sister Florence Davis and five grandchildren Melanie, Zachary, Kelsey, Nolan and Joseph, he is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 10th at 9:00 am at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 10:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, Martinsville. Cremation will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge. Visitation will be on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
