Obituary of Richard Borchers

Richard Borchers, 56, Died on Friday, March 16, 2012 at John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison, NJ. Richard was born in Plainfield, was raised in South Plainfield and lived in Plainfield for many years. He co-owned the Park Hardware Store in Plainfield, NJ with his brother for over 25 years. Richard enjoyed antique Volkswagen's and was also an animal lover. He is predeceased by mother Marguerite Faistl Borchers and his brother Douglas E. Borchers. Surviving are his father Donald W. Borchers of South Plainfield; his Fiance Toby Hecht of Dunellen; one brother William Borchers of New Hampshire and a niece and nephew A Memorial Gathering will be held on Monday, March 19, 2012 from 2 pm to 4 pm at Higgins Home For Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield, NJ 07060.
