Obituary of Adele Widin

Adele G. Widin, age 82, died on Wednesday March 28, 2012 in Clemson, SC. Born in Jersey City, NJ, Adele grew up in Westfield, and was a 52 year resident of Watchung. Most recently, Adele lived in South Carolina. Prior to her retirement in 1998, Mrs. Widin was the Borough Clerk in Watchung for many years. She was predeceased by her husband, R. Peter Widin in 2003. Surviving is her daughter, Nancy Widin Soper and her husband Phillip R. and her two sons; Gregory P. Widin and his wife Katharine D., Douglas R. Widin and his wife Jacqueline G. Segal; and grandchildren, Joan Widin Schroeder and her husband Jon C. and Peter B.Widin. A Funeral Mass of Resurrection will be held on Monday, April 2nd at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Stony Hill Church, Watchung. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Stony Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, April 1st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung.
