Obituary of Louetta C. Potts

Louetta C. (Closter) Potts, age 69, died on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at her home in Warren. Born in Long Island, she grew up in Watchung before moving to Warren forty-seven years ago. Louetta was a member of Wilson Memorial Union Church in Watchung. She enjoyed the outdoors, being at her shore house with her family and friends and most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren. Louetta was an unassuming person whose kind and caring nature was evident to all. Surviving is her loving husband Ronald who she met at the jersey shore over fifty years ago. Her son Geoffrey Potts and his wife Brooke of Ohio; daughter Laurie Maziekien and her husband Dennis of Watchung; brother Lou Closter; sisters Julie Tranosky and Linda Horn; grandchildren Nicholas and Jenna Maziekien and Reid and Blake Potts. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 19th, at 11:00 a.m. at Wilson Memorial Union Church in Watchung. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. Cremation is private.
