Obituary of Edna Catherine Tremarco

Edna Catherine (Morton) Tremarco, age 92, passed away on Friday April 20, 2012 surrounded by her family at The Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains. Mrs. Tremarco was born in Hazelton PA and had resided in Hillside for most of her life before recently moving to Berkeley Heights. She was a member of the Hillside Senior Citizens Club. Mrs. Tremarco's greatest joy was cooking all day Saturday for the family meals they shared every Sunday. She is predeceased by her husband Thomas in 1995 and her grandson Joseph in 2007. She is survived by her two sons Thomas Tremarco and his wife Debra and Anthony Tremarco and his wife Debra; three stepdaughters Vicky Pedicini, Angie Benson and her husband Frank and Rosemarie Ellenberger and her husband Walter; four brothers Matthew Morton, James Morton, Jackie Morton and Carl Morton; three sisters Gladys Gallagher, Mabel Morton and Mary Jane Barilla. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung NJ 07069 followed by the interment at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield.
