Mrs. Schmidt and Children
I was very sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Schmidt. He was one of my heroes for as long as I can remember. It was always fun to talk baseball with him. More than that, I cherished his friendship and that of your whole family. The Schmidts were always there for the Kinneys and especially for our parents as they grew older.
I was proud to know Mr. Schmidt. I know you will miss him badly, but remember the richness of his life.
God bless him and all of you in your time of sorrow. Things will get better soon.
