Obituary of Mark M. Isack

Mark M. Isack, age 60, died on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at JFK Medical Center in Edison, surrounded by his loving family, family friends Josh Errickson and Robbie Pagano, and the compassionate nurses at JFK ICU. Mark was born in Sharon, PA, then lived in Pittsburgh followed by Allentown, where he graduated from William Allen High School. He received his B.S. from the University of Pittsburgh and then went on to receive his MBA from Leigh University. Mr. Isack married his loving wife Tish in 1975 and they resided in Allentown, PA for 15 years. They then went on to live in Scotch Plains, NJ, and most recently have lived in the Sleepy Hollow Section of Plainfield, NJ. Mark was a member and past President of Temple Sholom in Scotch Plains and a former President of Berwyck Chase Home Owners Association. Mr. Isack was self-employed as a financial analyst with 30 years of experience specializing in business succession, estate, retirement, fringe benefit and investment planning. He was also a business partner with Cohen Partners LLC in New York City and was also associated with Summit Equities, Inc. in Parsippany, NJ. Mark's first passion was being a proud father. He followed his dreams and also became a licensed glider pilot and was a member of the Philadelphia Glider Council. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed spending time at his home in Chatham, MA. Surviving are his beloved wife, Tish (Joyce) Isack; his daughters, Nora and Magda Isack; his brother, Ronald Isack of CA; his sister, Marsha Lester of Philadelphia, PA; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful dog Kolby. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Temple Sholom, 74 South Martine Ave, Fanwood NJ 07023. Interment will follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin.
