Obituary of Paul R Donovan

Paul R. Donovan, Jr., age 85, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the Chelsea at Warren. Born in Toronto, Canada, Paul grew up in New England and had lived in Morris Plains for 30 years. He then lived in Long Valley and has resided in Warren for the past two years. Paul served in the United States Navy during World War II. He then went on to attend Boston College where he received his B.S. in 1952. Mr. Donovan enjoyed flying and was a certified private pilot. He was an avid downhill skier. He was predeceased by his wife, Priscilla (Cheetham) Donovan in 1981. Surviving are his daughters; Evelyn Donovan Macchiaverna and husband Rocco of Martinsville, Maureen Donovan DeLuca and husband David of Marshfield, MA, and Joan Donovan Mohyeddin and husband Reza of Orlando, FL. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; Elizabeth, Paul, Samuel, James, Andrew, Ella, Isobel and Amelia. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, June 16 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Mount Chapel, Warren. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
