Obituary of Doris Demcsik

Doris W. Demcsik, age 79, died on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Foothill Acres in Hillsborough. She was born and raised in Hartford, CT and had lived in Bridgewater for 49 years. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Demcsik was a Contract Specialist for Hoechst Roussell in Bridgewater for over 20 years. She was a member of the Pluckemin Presbyterian Church, the Bridgewater Women's Club and the Bridgewater Garden Club. She also volunteered at the Somerville Red Cross. Mrs. Demcsik enjoyed traveling with family and friends, reading and was an avid bridge player. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Len and Diane Spotts and her husband, Harlan and her grandchildren Zachary, Katherine, Derrick and Peter. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 16th at 10:30 a.m. at the Pluckemin Presbyterian Church. Cremation is private. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Somerville Red Cross, 14 West Cliff Street, Somerville, NJ 08876 or to the Pluckemin Presbyterian Church, 311 Route 202/206 Pluckemin, NJ 07978.
