Obituary of Louis E. Nicastro

Louis E. Nicastro, age 86, died on Sunday, April 19, 2015, at his home in Watchung. Born in Tuckahoe, NY, he was raised in Brooklyn and has resided in Watchung for over forty years. Louis worked as an Insurance Agent for Prudential Insurance Co. in Green Brook for many years. In his spare time Louis enjoyed traveling, cooking and was an avid hunter. He loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Vincent and Rose Nicastro and his brother Salvatore Nicastro. Surviving is his loving wife of fifty-eight years Edith (Forte) Nicastro; his son Jimmy Nicastro and his wife Tammy; his daughter Jane Disch and her husband Robert; grandchildren Julie and Michael Disch and Vincent, Anthony and Marisa Nicastro; brother Joseph Nicastro and his wife Carol; sister Anna Nicastro; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Stony Hill Church, Watchung. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Stony Hill Cemetery, Watchung.
